My order number is {removed per forum guidelines}, I ordered it and it was accepted and processed 11/16/11. However 4 days later it went on back order and has been on back order ever since. finally I called December 7th and it took 15 minutes to get in contact with someone. The custome service rep told me it was on backorder and had no idea if it was going to be filled or not. I said fine, since I really wanted the laptop, I said leave me on back order and I'll take my chance. So I called today 12/13 and again I'm on backordered and the bestbuy.com reps have no idea if my order will be filled.
My questions is why/how can a company take an order, process credit card information when they don't have the item in stock. and from the looks of it it doesn't appear that the item was ever in stock. Don't sell things you don't have, plain and simple.

I'm so agree, ONLY at BestBuy that the company take an order, process CC information, send out confirming email for with the shipping or pickup date when they don't have the sale item in stock.
And the WORST is BestBuy don't even borther to contact the customer about the item not in stock. Ony when the customer calls Bestbuy then they will tell you all of their BS.......that your order is out of stock and it's backorder.
So, BESTBUY please don't sell things you don't have your stock and please stop misleading your customers.
If not, I'm suggesting to change to SuckBuy from BestBuy.
