Hi.
I preordered the Muppets dvd/blu ray lunchbox combo and today the order status said backordered..how is that possible when I preordered it to avoid something like this?
How long before I even get the item..its available NOWHERE...and I paid the extra money to have it here in 2 days...Seems a bit ridiculous to have a preorder for something if you are unable to meet the needs.

and i didnt even get an email notifying me that the item that i preordered is on back order...and the customer service representative said "well it shouldnt be long..maybe a couple weeks"..i got expedited shipping so i could watch the dvd like everyone is...not 2 weeks after the fact...AND i know someone who ordered THIS MORNING...and went to the store and picked his up..yet i preordered early and i dont get mine? RIDICULOUS

We are having the same problem! We pre-ordered the Muppets blu-ray lunchbox set on Sunday and expected it to ship on Tuesday (when the movie was released) and NOTHING... no email notifying us of the status or anything. When I check my order is says "in process." If this item is really backordered, maybe it should say "backordered." This is very disappointing because, had we known that this movie would not be shipping on Tuesday, we would have tried to do in store pickup or just purchased the movie somewhere else.

I guess we'll just have to buy a 2nd copy of the movie and wait and see if the special set ever shows up. It's very frustrating. We shop at Best Buy often and didn't expect a problem. In fact, we thought that ordering it online would be the safest bet because we heard the stores were only carrying limited amounts. The kicker is, our local store seemed to have it available for pickup most of the day yesterday. Live and learn, I guess.
