I recently had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with bestbuy.com. I looked on their website and saw that Edgar Allan Poe's Requiem for the Damned had just recently been released on DVD, and there was also a Blu-ray available, although it was on backorder. Naturally, I wanted the Blu-ray, so I ordered it, figuring that it would soon be in stock and available to ship. However, I just recived an email stating that the Blu-ray version is unavailable, and my order has been cancelled. If the Blu-ray was unavailable, then why was it listed as an order option on Best Buy.com??! I was given no clear answer for this, and this has left me extremely upset by this perceived false advertising. I even called Hannover House, the company that manufacters the DVD of this title, and they said they they have never printed a Blu-ray of this title.
As I see it, Best Buy is at fault for offering misleading information, whether intentionally or not, and needs to pay closer attention to ensure that the information they are providing their customers is accurate. If they are unable to do this, then I will simply be taking my business elsewhere.
Thank you for completely wasting my time.

I apologize if my inital message was unnecessarily harsh, but it is simply frustrating to be told one thing at first, and then to be told something else at a later point. Miscommunications do occur, and this may have taken place between Best Buy and Hannover House. I am hopeful however, that we will see a Blu-ray relase of Requiem of the Damned at some point in the future.

Thanks for posting! I am sorry to hear that you felt there was some misleading information on BestBuy.com regarding Edgar Allan Poe's Requiem for the Damned on Blu-ray. I know that I’d be just as disappointed if I saw my order cancel because it was not going to be available.
I did take a look at the order and did notice that Blu-ray version is no longer on BestBuy.com. It is most likely that this was an error on the site and was corrected as soon as possible. I apologize that this was the causation for a disappointing experience. I appreciate the feedback regarding your order. I hope that it is later released on Blu-ray, as I know that wanted to get the best quality is preferred.
