I don't know if it will help you but I will tell you my experience:
After my problems posted previously, to no surprise, I did not recieve the computer on time. The order was delayed and shipped the day it was supposed to arrive. I was also very frustrated with Best Buy, but I will hand it to them, they did respond to all my questions and complaints. I expressed that I should recieve a refund for the express shipping, and I did recieve this money back (and very quickly I might add).
The computer arrived after 3-4 business days after shipping (the computer was shipped STANDARD through UPS since express date was not going to be met). Computer is fine, and I am currently typing this reply on it.
So in summary: investigating in the forums it seems as if Dell (the supplier for this laptop) is not meeting the agreed date for delivery (this is a theory), and Best Buy I think, should temporarily remove express shipping for this device (if this is the case). I was very frustrated because of the lack of information, and to Best Buy's merit they did not respond rudely to my rants or comments here and via email. I am still a little bit disappointed and will have to think hard when/*if* making another purchase.
I hope this helps calm you a bit, and would be interesting to have more information on this situation, just for future knowledge, because it does seem to be a recurring problem.
