You know its funny I spent two hours on the phone today with so called "customer service" and well the best I could get is maybe you should contact your local internet provider. Hello people I live in England and my local internet provider is not the problem if you took time to google bestbuy.com access denied you'll find people all over the world cant access it either. I was transfered from here to there to here and the last lady (if that is what I'd call her) was supposed to be with geek squad told me "Ma'am I'm sorry but I don't have anyone I can transfer you to. What do you need help ordering? IDK cause I can't browse the website for sales ect to see what I want. Well then I can't help you. Ok but can you transfer me to someone that can. No. No, what do you mean no? You don't have anyone that handles tech support for bestbuy.com website?? No we don't." After a little bit of back and forth she said is there anything else I can help you with? Yes can I speak to geek squad since that is who the last two reps told me to talk to. No I'm sorry you can't they can't help you with the problem. I can access the site just fine. Ok well are you in the United States? ---- silence --- ok obviously you are well we are military stationed overseas and trying to order products and I can't get online. Is there anything else I can help you with? Thank you for calling best buy click...... Wow really she hung up on me???  I don't even know what to say. No one that works for best buy can seem to give you an answer.  I'm going to contact the best buy store here in the UK and see what they say. Certainly they will not give me the remark "I can access the site just fine" Funny if you go to bestbuy.co.uk you can get on that site and shop there all day every day. You can even get on the site for Canada, Turkey, all the links at the bottom work but not the .com site?? What seriously is going on here?

No, it's not. I am currently in Louisiana and get access denied, but only when I use Firefox. The site works with Internet Explorer which I refuse to use.

So no, it is NOT only outside the US, and no it is NOT the end users ISP.

Oh, believe me, I've tried Firefox and IE.  It won't work on the military base, it won't work at my house off post.  I've talked to other Soldiers deployed in the Middle East and they couldn't access BB.com either.

 

Regardless of which browser you use (and clearing cache) the website won't work.  No explanation from Best Buy except to clear the caches.  No solution to this problem.

 

No big deal, I just buy from Newegg now and I had my friend ship me a computer from Costco from the States.
