It's been over 2 weeks. I still haven't received my order. BBY continues to hold my money. The backorder status states 1-2 weeks. BBY, any words?

It took almost 3 weeks to get this straightened out for me, and I was dealing with someone (nice guy, don't get me wrong) from their corporate offices, and he still really didn't help too much. I had to email and call back several times after he said I would get my refund, finally a week later I got it. From my experience, BestBuy certainly does not go out of their way to make things right for the customer, or to keep that customer's business. Threatening with actions was the only way to get my point across, it seemed. I've talked with several people that were in the same situation, they promptly received rewardzone certificates and giftcards for the screw-up...I didn't get anything but "we're sorry", lol. If you dont mind me asking, tchang, what items did you order?

Oh, wow. See, that's part of my problem as well. Everyone is getting different results in this situation because BestBuy doesn't know what to do. I was told it would be impossible for them to honor the transaction because of stock issues (I also ordered Wanted Collector's Edition). However, I was told the same thing for Hellboy 2 Collectors Edition and it shipped even after they said it wouldn't. I hope you get what you are after, it's been very frustrating I'm sure. I have accepted the outcome in my situation, but it still leaves a bitter taste even now.
