I joined your boards just to complain... your "midnight sale" with reveal of sale prices at midnight eastern was a complete bust.  All the prices shown at noon were the same as those shown at midnight.  Your "sale" prices on most things were the same price as everyday pricing at big box retailers & online stores.  I won't fall for this lame ploy again.

Yep, i don't know why i continue to give Best Buy money. I waited up for your midnight sale on Blu rays and more specifically Scream 4 which was listed at 19.99 earlier wednesday. Come 11pm CST none of your blu ray movies changed prices for the midnight sale  and Scream 4 went from ADD TO CART to SOLD OUT ONLINE without it even going on sale! Very lame Best Buy.

I have to agree with the original poster. Best Buy flat out lied to everybody with their blatent false advertising regarding the midnight sale. They listed 14 DVD/ blu-ray titles earlier today with a banner which said "Sale prices to be released at 9PM PST". It is now 10:40 PST, you took down the banner ad for the sale, and NOTHING changed in the DVD section. Anybody working for Best Buy care to explain this mess, or did you hope that nobody woud notice that you didn't change the sale prices? Nice little scam going here, people who just logged onto the webiste at midnight probably thought the DVD prices had just been lowered, when they had actually been that way for 24 hours (or for some titles, multiple days). Absolutely pathetic. Amazon, you just got my business.

Another resounding failure of a major chain.  I am very disappointed in how these companies keep wasting time.  Best Buy used to be such a good company too.

Yeah, I was looking forward to getting Donnie Darko on Blu-ray at a decent price. It's been $9.99 ALL day!  Best Buy never updated the midnight sale price and it's supposed to be part of the sale. FAIL!

I THINK I found it....can't really tell (which is sad).  But I could not find a direct link from Bestbuy.com 

Putting in "Best buy midnight sale" into google brings up the older midnight sale page where you can select categories.   Very disappointing though.  If Best Buy thinks these are sale prices, I can understand why they might not be doing as well anymore.
