return policy

Hello. I bought my item on may 28th. I want to return the item today (June 12th). This still is allowed correct because i start counting my days from the 29th of may? Someone said it counts on the day i bought it but it was night time so i feel like that would not be fair.

Welcome to our forums.  I’m glad you’ve come to us with your question, as I imagine a lot of our forum users have found themselves in a similar situation.

 

We want to make sure our customers are able to return their purchases to us as soon as possible, should the need arise.  For this reason, the return/exchange period offered by our Return & Exchange Promise begins the day you receive your product, rather than asking our customers wait a day before attempting to return their purchase to us.

 

Most products can be returned to us within 15 days, with 30 and 45-day periods offered to My Best Buy Elite and My Best Buy Elite Plus customers, respectively.  I’d like to review your purchase a bit further, to confirm your return/exchange period.  In order to do so, I’ll need to gather a few pieces of additional information from you.  If you could send me a private message with the following information:

 

  • Your first and last name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Your order number or “Customer Service PIN” located at the bottom of your receipt

 

This should be enough information for me to locate your purchase.  To send me this information privately, be sure to use the blue “Private Message” button in my signature.
