missed the return policy deadline due to...IRMA and returned to Europe!

I am not fully satisfied with a Best Buy purchase. I would like a replacement of the same product.

 

The problem is that I had to evacuate Florida (where I bought the product) and returned back to Europe due to IRMA. I have the receipt and the original package.  I should have returned the product in a period of 15 days, according to your Return Policy, but due to the situation with the weather I could not do so.

so here is the details:

SALE ITEM:  6405117, NS-DG06501 (A 6FT LOW - PROFILE MINI/MICRO HDMI CABLE) ORIGINAL TRAN {removed per forum guidelines} . Actually the MICRO HDMI adaptor in the box is not working. So, I would be happy and I would prefer to make an exchange for the same item. Please consider that it is impossible to bring this back in Florida into the period of 15 days, due to the above situation and because I am in Europe already.

The specific Best Buy department I visited was: Number 1258, at 2200 S University DR, DAVIE , FL 33324

(954) 916-6999    will it be possible to have the a replacement from the USA or in Europe?

Welcome to our Community. I'm happy to hear you were able to avoid Irma. Some of my relations could not and while they are safe, their "live reports" were quite harrowing indeed. I'm sorry to hear the weather interfered with your ability to make the needed return, however.

 

As you know, Best Buy's Return & Exchange Promise allows for the return or exchange of most products within 15 days of purchase (30 days for My Best Buy Elite members and 45 days for Elite Plus members). I understand the logistics involved, however your return of the defective item would need to be made to a Best Buy store within the time allowed. With apologies, Best Buy cannot accept returns shipped from outside the U.S.

 

I regret I do not have better news or another option for you. Thank you for writing to us.

Thank you Jonh! I understand the logistics involved from your side as well. What about using the 1 Year Limited Warranty against defect in materials and workmanship?
