I purchased a Verizon PrePaid iPhone SE's in July from Best Buy.I was told by a Verizon csr at the store that I could activate the phone on my longtanding Verizon account. There was no mention of it as a prepaid phone since I told them I wasnted to buy an SE outright. The csr was correct and I was able to activate the phone. In Dec., I did the latest iOS update and my phone stopped working properly. After a reset, I received the message that the phone was not scanned properly at point of purchase and to return it to the store to be scanned properly. I spoke with Verizon and after many checks, they were unable to help and but would be willing to to activate as prepaid or postpaid, if they could activate it. I was told Best Buy had to fix their problem and it should be an easy fix.. I called the store where I purchased it, Niagara Falls Blvd., Amherst NY and was told they would not be able to do anything for me, it was outside the 14 day window and I was stuck with the phone. I have my receipt, and chat transcript with Verizon indicating Best Buy's mistake.
So now I have an iPhone SE's that I can't activate and I can't return. I would like either a new phone, a refund or to have the phone scanned properly.
How can we resolve this?

Welcome to our forum, and I am sorry if this iPhone now cannot be activated onto Verizon service. I do have to admit to being a little confused. So are you stating the phone was activated onto Verizon service, and then after an iOS update it stopped working properly? Then you reset the phone to factory settings? After resetting the phone to factory setting it could no longer be activated onto Verizon service? I look forward to hearing from you.
