bad service

I purchased an unboxed Apple mac book, thought I would give it a try. After a couple days I went to take it back because I didn't like it, not realizing there's what they call a crack in the bottom of the screen because it looks different. They say it can happen by holding the computer too tight, WOW! I didn't do nothign to this computer, just was taking back. I need to talk to someone about this. This was no fault of mine and is crazy. who do I need to talk to?

Thanks for singing up with an account with us here at the Best Buy Community forums. I know what it is like to buy something and later decide it wasn’t the right purchase to make. I hope that I’ll be able to explain why we weren’t able to take your computer back.


Under our Return & Exchange Promise, we are able to take returns on purchases up to fifteen days after they are purchased. However, our Promise specifically calls out that damaged items are nonreturnable. Because your MacBook has a cracked screen, it would not qualify for a return.

As your computer is not returnable, you may want to look into getting your screen repaired instead. If you’d like to get your screen repaired, Geek Squad can ship the computer out for an estimate on a replacement screen for you.
