at this time I'm a little mad and my only intention is to know how should I proceed to file a claim?
Here's what happens:
In October 12 - 2016, I bought Two Laptops at BestBuy as a gif for my nephews in Guatemala. These were Supposedly Refurbished, but when arrived, were USED, NOT REFURBISHED!!!
Both had many visible scratches all around the body, and somekind of plastic covering the worn-out mousepad. I wasn't pleased, but I had over time to travel to Guatemala with my family, hoping my nephews would be pleased at least with my intention. There was a supposed Warranty stating that the laptops would be covered against any malfunction that could present, so I wasn't too worried. I was so wrong...
Since the first time, both of the laptops have presented problems (as over-heating, freezing, etc.) and one of them as even stopped functioning many times! It happens that the laptop's fan isn't working anymore, and this problem occured since the first time we turned them on.
It seems to me as an original and well planned S.C.A.M. from the BestBuy, but I would like to get your opinion and help, if possible, to find a viable solution for this problem.
From a little-angry-and-dissapointed customer,
Thanks for your time.

I’m genuinely sorry to hear about your experience with the two refurbished laptops you purchased. I can absolutely understand the frustration of receiving defective items. Especially if their intended use is as gifts.
As listed on our website, “All refurbished items are products that have been repaired and restored to a like-new state. They are verified to work properly and include all parts and accessories (original or comparable substitutes).” They do carry a warranty against defects. Since all purchases made in the US are assumed to be used in the US, they would need to be shipped to a friend or family member who can bring them in to a store for a warranty claim.
I understand this may not be idea but with the warranty we should be able to get the laptops taken care of for you. If you have any other questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to ask!
