Tax Exempt Quick Card Not Accepted at a Store

Hello,

I purchased an item in a Best Buy store, but they could not do tax exempt.  I was trying to purchase the item online, but it was a store only item.  How can I get the tax refunded?   I have Quick Card as well, and it is valid.

Thanks.

Re: Tax Exempt Quick Card Not Accepted at a Store

Hello RichDobi,

My apologies for the delayed response. We’ve been exceptionally busy due to the past holiday season and it is taking longer than I’d like to catch back up with everyone that’s come to us for help.

Normally you simply bring your card into the store with you when you go make a purchase. In order to request your refund, you will need to send a fax within 30 days of your purchase, fax a copy of your tax exemption certificate, resale certificate or other required documentation to 1-866-964-1842. For more information check out the Tax Information section on our site.

Thank you for reaching out to us about this. Let me know if you have any further questions.

Best regards,
