Hi, I purchased 2 software cards Both were Microsoft Office Home and Student 2016 for Mac. When I got home my son and I tried to get the program into our new laptops that we also bought (which work great by the way). When we tried to enter our codes it said it wasn't activated. We returned to Best Buy Store #154 (Eastgate location in Cincinnati). Showed them the receipts and cards and they would not activate them or give us a refund. I just spent $129.99 plus tax for each of them and got nothing in return and was told there was nothing I could do. I would like a refund at this point. Please contact me to take care of it.

The store should be doing something about it because you purchased it there and their point of sale did not activate this correctly.
Have you escalated to a manager or supervisor?
Something does not seem right.
I use Microsoft Office every day, so I know how important it is to have a working copy. Thanks for reaching out to us about this here on the Best Buy Community forums.
Have you reached out to Microsoft for support on this yet? Often times when there’s an issue with a keycard’s activation, they are able to help you out over the phone. That phone number should be located on the key card.
If that doesn’t work for you, please reach out to me through a private message by using the link in my signature below this post. Please send along your name, phone number, email address, and the customer service PIN or order number from your receipt.
Once I have all of those details I’ll check it out and see if I can help you out at all.
