Returning an item that was exchanged.

Hi,

I recently purchased the Sony Active Sport headphones on 6/29/17. They didn't fit well in my ears and were very awkward so I decided to exchange them for the Wireless Jaybird X3s.

They worked great at first but when running, of the IPhone or IPod was below my waist than the sound would skip, just like if you fast forward through a song.

I than exchanged those for a pair of wireless Bose SoundSport and am honestly not that impressed with the quality of the product, especially with the hefty price tag.

So I want to return the Bose SoundSport and just get a full refund. I do apologize in advance for returning and exchanging so frequently in such a short span of time. It would've been much more convenient to be able to try them out but I do understand why Best Buy doesn't want a bunch of customers sticking. $100+ products in their ears.

My question is, the return period is 15 days. Is that 15 days from the very first purchase or 15 days from when I purchased the product that I want to return?

Thank you very much in advance.

Kevin.

Re: Returning an item that was exchanged.

Hey Kvngp,

Thanks for joining our forum, and hopefully I can get this answered for you. It is disappointing to hear that all of these headphones did not work for you, and that you now just want a refund of your purchase. If the headphones were exchanged each time your 15 day return or exchange period would start from the date of the original headphone purchase. If instead the headphones were outright returned each time, and you then purchased new headphones outright your 15 day return or exchange period starts on the date of each purchase. I hope this helps.

Re: Returning an item that was exchanged.

Hey Allan-BBY,

Well that's great to know because I bought a different one each time. So that means the 15 day warranty began on the day I purchased the Bose Sound Sports.

I'm truly sorry for returning and exchanging these so often. I've done tons of research on each one and no matter how much you read up on it, the best way to judge it is to actually try it out yourself for a few hours.

I'm just going to stick with the earphones that comes with the IPhone. I love working out and went to school for Kinesiology and Exercise Science so music is a big deal to me. It helps me get into my zone and these past few weeks of working out have been inconvenient.

Despite all that, I do love shopping at Best Buy. I always buy all me games from there and trade in with BB because it offers a much better deal than most other places.

I just fear the dreaded TRE warning and/or ban because of all the activity. As long as I can return these, which I am positive I will, than I'm ok with that.

I also wanted to say thank you to the entire staff that works diligently to assist distressed customers. I've worked in retail and know full well just how nasty some of these people can be.

Y'all are always very formal, informative and polite, and always do the best you can to ensure the customer is satisfied. At my job, that's my one priority, to ensure they are happy and taken care of.

On top of that, you guys have to deal with those dreaded Walls of Text. I've read other threads while I was bored and couldn't go halfway through that without my head hurting.

It may not seem like much to some people but you guys are a great help and it really is appreciated that you guys deal with a bunch of angry and disgruntled people. But I guess being on a forum makes it much easier lol.

Sorry about the rant, I was just impressed by some of the responses to these customers issues and how you guys go the extra mile to make sure their concerns are taken care of.

When I go out shopping, most employees, in general, might I add, hardly ever care for helping or being polite, nice and respectful to customers.

Thank you for being great employees, I would say that you guys are the Chik-Fil-A equivalent but that's honestly very difficult to surpass. I say that as a testament to how good their customer service is haha.

Thank you all so very much,

Kevin.

Re: Returning an item that was exchanged.

Hi Kevin,

Unless you've already been banned from returning items at Best Buy by TRE you should be able to return these latest headphones, but given your description of how many of these you returned I would not be surprised if TRE does ban you from making returns in the future when returning these latest headphones.

I truly appreciate all the kind words towards myself and my team. I can tell you honestly we all try to do our very best in helping each of our customers.

Thanks,
