I purchased a linksys router on Dec. 20th 2017. Ran my card as a debit and teh cashier told me it was acting funny would i mind if i ran it as a credit card and i said sure. Notice the next day that i was double charged. Returned to the store and they told if they both went through that i should come back. So the following day they both went through and i returned and was told that it was a known issue with the pos that day and they it would be refunded in 3-5 business days. Mind you they took $270 4 days before christmas that cause numerous of issues when it came to providing a good christmas for my son. So after numerous of trips to the store and and hours on the phone with 1800 bestbuy nothing is fixed. Spoke withe everyone i could imagine to try to get this fixed with nothing happeing other than them telling me to just wait they working on it. So after hours of in store time and hours of time on the phone it seems like im the only one working on getting this resolved. I have also looked into trying to push the issue higher with no option for that. So if this continues and does not get fixed im just out $270 with no answers from bestbuy other than they are working on it. Why should i have to spend hours on hours of my time to have you guys fix a issue that is not my fault? You guys did not have permission to take the money.

My apologies for the delayed response. We’ve been exceptionally busy due to the past holiday season and it is taking longer than I’d like to catch back up with everyone that’s come to us for help.
I’m sorry to learn about this double charge to your bank card. I apologize for the inconvenience; I’m here to help where I can. With the credentials provided during your forum sign up and I see we are not able to verify a double charge/payment on this date for this purchase. Have you been able to go back to the store and get this addressed or dispute the charge with your bank?
