Cell Phone Purchase

My husband and I recent got a new phone plan. We were both currently on our parents plans and we wanted to get a plan of our own. We had direct tv already and at the time they had a special going on if you had direct tv and switched to ATT your got a free iPhone 7. What Best Buy mobile in Jonesboro did they took both of our numbers and imported them into a Verizon plan and then canceled that service and imported our numbers into an AT&T plan. For whatever reason they told us that we could both get free iPhone 7s so we both got one. Well I started noticing on my bill that I wasn't getting my second credit for one of the phones. I went up to Best Buy and they had me contact customer support. Customer support had me contact AT&T. AT&T can't help me because I purchase the phones through Best Buy. Well Best Buy is saying they can't help me because the plan is through AT&T. We were told that both my husband and I could get free iphone7 but now we are being told that the package that was going on was for only one free iPhone 7. So now we are having to pay the installment fee for the other iPhone 7. Can someone please help me
