A PROBLEM WITH MY LAPTOP

hi

please I have bought an open-box dell laptop , and when I opened it , I found that it is not the model that I bought , with tottally different specs , please I want a solution for this problem as it is a very bad experience for me.

Since it's open box, best option would be to return it. Unless of course they have the same laptop in open box, then you could exchange it.

The problem is that my friend got me the laptop from the US , and I am now in egypt.

If that's the case your friend would need to be the one to reach out to best buy, best buy also doesnt accept returns made outside the US. You would need to mail it to someone in the US to return, within the return period.

Welcome to the forum. I can imagine it came as a shock when you opened your new laptop and realized that it was not the one you thought you had purchased. I'm very sorry to hear this has happened to you. 

 

As jxs2 mentioned. we are unable to accept returns from outside the country at this time. You would need to send it back to your friend with the receipt within the 15 day return and exchange period so they can exchange it for you.

I bought the laptop online using my credit card and my friend picked it up from the store , but this happened some months ago , and now it is the first time for the laptop to open , I really can't realize that I didn't get benefit from the money that I paid I have ordered a 1TB i7 4K UHD laptop , and the one I recieved is i5 500gb and not 4K UHD , PLEASE HELP ME

I can completely understand your frustration but regrettably as I mentioned before, we do not accept international returns, and you are much outside the return and exchange policy.
