I purchased my Garmin vivosmart HR a year ago. The strap to the watch snapped a week ago and I went into my local Best Buy and received a replacement Garmin vivosmart HR, no problem, and also received the 2 year protection plan on this watch as well. After, doing some research, I am interested in purchasing the Garmin vivoactive HR (which is $100 more than my current Garmin watch. I was wondering if I would be able to exchange my current Garmin (has onyly been 6 days since my replacement purchase) and then pay the difference for the new Garmin, or if I wasn't allowed to exchange replacement plan items? Thank you!

Hi there, Fjsomm,
Good question! While disappointing to hear your watch snapped like that, I'm glad we were able to offer a replacement at your local store.
Please know that you should be able to pick out the replacement that you want. I understand you might've already purchased a new Garmin Vivosmart, but if you’re within its allotted 15-day Return and Exchange Promise, you should be able to exchange it for the Vivoactive model. Just keep in mind that you would be asked to pay the difference at the register.
I hope this helps,
