Warranty

Hello! I bought a camera (Nikon D3200 DSLR) five years ago (December 2011) and I know I got all sorts of warranties for it. I was wondering if you could possibly tell me what kind of warranty I have on it and if it is still available. I have my original receipt somewhere, but I didn't know if you could look it up in my past purchases? My name is Alexis {removed per forum guidelines} and my account info should all be up to date. Please let me know, I'd like to get it repaired if possible. Thank you!

Hey Alexis, if you're looking for a faster answer to your question, I'd recommend contacting your local Geek Squad or Customer Service counter. If the camera is covered by the warranty, they'll let you know and will be able to send it out for the needed repairs.

The forums are a bit backed up with the holidays, so it might be a bit before you get a response here.

To add to that, I don't think there are any camera service plans that last 5 years unless it was extended at some point.

In reviewing the information available to us, it would appear at this time that the Geek Squad Protection plan you purchased was for 2 years and has expired.  Unfortunately any repairs would be at your expense given this information.  If you have any questions, please feel free to reply and we’d be happy to look into it for you to assist however possible.
