Vizio TV Warranty

[ Edited ]

I recently purchased a vizio E70-E3 tv and I can’t remember if I purchased the extended warranty or not. Could you be of assistance? My serial number is {removed per forum guidelines}

Re: Vizio TV Warranty

Half of the screen has went black and it is barely over a year old. I am quite frustrated. I tried to trouble shoot with vizio and they basically told me I need a new tv.

Re: Vizio TV Warranty

Greetings devinkling,

Welcome to the Best Buy Support Online Forum Community! Discovering half of your TV screen is black is concerning. I’m sorry to hear that Vizio wasn’t able to troubleshoot the issue over the phone, and shared it’s most likely unrepairable. I’d be happy to see if you have an active Geek Squad Protection Plan on it.

Can you please send me a private message with your phone number you use to purchase in-store? Once I have that detail I’d be happy to review your purchase history to see if an active Geek Squad Protection Plan was purchased with your Vizio E70-E3. You can send me a private message by choosing the option to do so next to my name at the bottom.

Respectfully,

Re: Vizio TV Warranty

Hello devinkling,

Thanks for sharing your phone number with me privately! I really do appreciate it. I was able to locate your purchase for your Vizio 70”, and it appears that you didn’t purchase a Geek Squad Protection for it. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Kindly,
