UE BOOM 2 repair, brazilian customer

I am Brazilian and on Feb 02, 2017 I was at the best buy #510 8350 S Orange Blossom TRL Orlando, FL 32809 and bought an UE BOOM 2 - Brainfreeze editto. I listened to music to test the speaker and it was working fine. I returned to Brazil on Feb 03, 2017 and I noticed that the speaker wasn't working properly: it only plays audios every now and then and sometimes it just suddenly stops playing. I am looking forward to a reply, thank you.

Best Buy is only able to assist US based customers with their manufacturer warranty issues. Your best bet to get some assistance is to contact UE and see if they're able to help you internationally. Portuguese support is 0800-891-4173, Spanish is 01-800-800-4500 (through UE).

It’s great to hear you were able to find time to shop with Best Buy when you visited on February 2, but we are disappointed to hear you returned home to find the speaker intermittently plays audio.  The Best Buy forums are a great place to have your questions addressed by recognized community members, and in time, a moderator who works for the corporate headquarters. 


Our friend @geishafish supplied some phone numbers to reach the manufacturer for your claim, and I would be more than willing to search for a receipt, should you need one re-printed for proof of purchase.  Unfortunately, any item outside of our Return and Exchange Promise (15 days) would need to have a Geek Squad Protection Plan purchased as well for repair or replacement through us. 


I would recommend calling UE to see what steps you should take next for your speaker, and if we can help out with anything along the way, please just let us know!
