Rejection of my canon dalr to fix under protection

I purchased canon 5D mark iv in 2017 from BB and same time I took ADH protection plan for 2 years to camera. Now march 2018 I broke my camera due to accident and went to geek squad to cover the protection plan I have. Now they saying that they cannot take that dalr to fix cuz damage  is too much. I don’t understand I have a plan to cover for accidental but they refusing to accept it. It happen before with my another dalr but they take it to fix and didn’t fixed 

so they give another camera but this time they not accepting. I’m really freeked out right now. If you not fixing my camera 

I’m going to case you for not taking care customers.

Hello Gajendra

Welcome to the Best Buy forums having coverage for your devices is a great way to keep them protected incase of accidental damage. Geek Squads ADH plans do indeed cover accidental damage now during my time within Geek Squad there have been times in which we have refused a claim for extreme damage or damage not covered under warranty, such as a gun shot through a laptop screen or a IMac that fell off a truck well driving. My Best advice is to Go into your local store and talk with the Geek Squad manager and see what He/She decides on doing with your claim.

Out of curiosity what type of damage is present on your camera? is it in pieces? ran over? smashed to bits? infested with bugs? as all these reasons would be why Geek Squad might refuse a claim.

The device is not smashed into pieces neither damage by gun shoot. Its a accident happen while shooting outside. I’m landscape photographer and I do shooting outside most of the time. Two years before it happen same thing with my other camera and they fix that time but this time they not taking care. I’m a good customer of best buy from long time and I purchased so many thing in best buy with protection but this time they really not helping me out. I’m so sorry but if this time they didn’t fix I’m going with different process.

Welcome to our community. I appreciate you taking the time to write to us about your recent experience with your protection plan for you Canon 5D. I know if I ever purchased a nice camera like that I'd definitely want to get a plan to give me peace of mind while using it. I'm sorry to hear that you're having a difficult time getting assistance with repair. I'd be happy to look in to this to see how I can help. 

 

Did you visit the Geek Squad at one of our store locations? Did they mention why they would not be able to repair this camera? Can you tell me which store and Geek Squad Agent you spoke to? I have ADH protection plan and it covers accidental or unforeseen. I need to be fix my camera. Why you people not taking it seriously. Two years before you fix my another camera happen something similar accident and now you denied for no reason.

Thank you for your response. As I've mentioned because of the cause and severity of the damage, we are unable to process a claim on this camera to have it repaired or replaced. Please know that this decision is not made lightly and was only after your camera was inspected. If you have any further questions about how this decision was reached I would recommend contacting your local Geek Squad for some further information.
