No Help At ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

SO I recently purchased a Keg fridge from best buy and had it delivered to my house.  It was a two tap fridge.  I had been using only one tap and after a month added the second keg.  Thats when I noticed that the ring that holds the tap to the mast was cracked.  I called bestbuy and the told me to contact the manufacturer.  So I looked up the manfc number and guess whos answers  Best Buy.  They transferred me over to parts which ends up being in china or asia somewhere becuase the person didnt speak english.  They told me after and hour on the phone that I sould source the parts locally.  Great.  SO I e-mail Insigna I mean Best Buy about the fantastic customer service I have received so far adn they respond back that I should bring the fridge to the nearest Buest Buy so they can look at it.  The fridge weighs over 100lbs and will not fit in my car hench the reason I had it delivered.  Fantastic customer service, dosent get any better.  I did also pay for the protection plan. But according to the first Best Buy customer service rep I spoke to its not actually a repair plan its only a replacement plan.  So if i need something fixed they will only send me out a whole new unit.  The thing works fine except for a .50 cent ring that is broken.  According to the first rep I would once again have to bring the fridge to my nearest Best Buy for them to send me out a replacement fridge thuss voiding my protection plan that I paid for to fix my fridge when it really breaks.  Awsommmmmmmmmmmmme.  I dont buy alot of things from Worst Buy and probably wont be buying much of anything else.

Getting a kegerator is the perfect addition for any craft brew enthusiast. It’s discouraging to hear that when you tried to add your second keg you were unable to as the ring is cracked that’s needed to secure it. I apologize when you tried to explore your options through Insignia you didn’t receive the help you were looking for, and you’d prefer not to use your Geek Squad Protection Plan.

 

From experience I know that kegerator are very heavy, and being asked to bring it your local Best Buy may not be the best option. I’d be happy to review what options may be available on your behalf. Please know I’ll be reaching out to Insignia on your behalf to discuss this matter. Once I have more information I’d be happy to discuss the options available.

Thank you so much for your patience on this matter. I just wanted to give you a quick update on where we are with this matter. I've received your email with pictures which clarify where the damage is on your kegerator.

It took a little time and back & forth but to Bestbuy's credit they fixed my problem to my complet satisfaction. I am very satisfied with the support I received from bestbuy forums customer service
