This is not directly a BestBuy issue but I am hoping BB can help me out. You vendor JVC is not being very helpful. On 07/29/17 I purchaed a KWV230BT. The issue it is having is the first word spoken by a map program that is running on a bluetooth linked phone get cut off. I have tested this with a stock Samsung S7 and a Nexus 6 using Google maps, Wazes and the results are the same. JVC has acknowledged the issue but I keep getting the run around when or if it will be fixed. If I had know about this issue sooner I would have returned the unit.
FYI the intsllers at BB have been great try their best to help out including swapping out the unit for another.
I am hoping BB can put some pressure on JVC has you have a bigger influence than I do.

Good afternoon, Joe,
While I wish it were due to more fortunate circumstances, welcome to the forum! I’m sorry to hear your JVC Receiver isn’t working quite as it should, especially given that we’ve exchange the unit out in the past to possibly resolve the issue. It’s understandable why it’d be frustrating to not be able to use the GPS program properly, so I appreciate you reaching out to us for further assistance.
Based on the information you’ve provided in your post, it sounds like the error you’re experiencing is due to a glitch that JVC is actively trying to fix. Regrettably, we wouldn’t have a way to expedite their research process. I apologize for any frustration this may cause, as we would ask for your patience while they see what options they may offer down the road to resolve the matter (software patch, firmware update, etc.).
Thanks for posting,
