Issue Samsung dryer/washer

I need someone who has authority to do the right thing and honor my request. On 6/21/15 I purshased Samsung washer & dryer along with a fridge Order # {removed per forum guidelines}. Sales associate was also very persuasive & convinced me to buy additional geek squad warrenty on all my appliances for worry free peace of mind. I've been having problems with my washer for the past 3 months but when I called geek squad they were not able to find the washer in there records however my Best Buy store did have me on there's. I'm very busy, I'm a first responder so aside from sometimes working  72hr shifts my uniform at times gets really messy & rely on a quality washer & dryer. I am very patient but have been pushed to my limit. Early last week my dryer failed as well, it smells as if something is on fire & sounds like there's several loose parts in there. I found my receipt & schedulers appointment for service for Saturday 8/5/17. I then took a sick day & was stood up. Later towards evening I received a call with an apology & they gave me excuse saying they would be here on Monday between 1-6pm. Monday came along & I was scheduled to go in work @ 3 pm so I called in said I was gonna be running late. I again got stood up, on my way to work I received a call from geek squad with an apology for 2nd time saying that he was 2 techs down 1 past away & the other on had just serverly injured his back & at this point had know for sure rescheduling date but that he would call me on Wednesday to keep me updated. I hope you can understand my frustration and why I was left in tears of anger.At this point I just want what I payed for & I'm done playing games. I'm a professional & would like to be treated like 1,I would like an exchange or $ back. Thank you.

Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here on our forum. I am honestly sorry that we no called no showed twice now, and to be honest that is unacceptable. I truly appreciate you being upfront as to what you need from us, but I do have to be honest with you we would not be able to exchange the units or refund your purchase of these units.

 

I have emailed our in home appliance repair team asking them to get this scheduled for the soonest available appointment that works with your schedule. Once I hear back from them I will post back to this thread.

Thanks for the respond and for being honest, I would have liked the appliance manger to be as honest as you are & not have made the protection plan sound as if would be a fool for not taking it. To me worry free means worry free, it certainly does not mean additional worries do you not agree.

I would also like to add that I do not believe you are living up to your job title. A senior social media specialist that does not take the time to read a post thoroughly should not have the word specialist in there job title. I never said it was no call no show. They never showed but they did call. On Saturday they said they were short handed so was rescheduled for Monday. On Monday one of the techs died & the other one hurt his back was what they told me. I'm very sorry for the loss to the Best Buy family but that is not my problem. My problem is I got 2 kids in football practice with dirty uniforms & I get all kings of bodily fluids on mine when responding to injured victims, & I need my washer & dryer to function properly as I paid for & was assured with protection plan. If you can't understand that then I'm disappointed in what the Best Buy team may be up to.There is exceptions to every rule & contract & this is one of them give me the same washer & dryer so I can finish washing & drying my close, easy peasy everyone happy we forgot this ever happened thank you

Hey Urdonezo,

 

I am sorry if I was not clear enough in my response. I did understand that we ended up calling you when we missed your appointment; I read your post to mean we called you after we missed your appointment, and a no call no show would mean we didn't call prior to missing an appointment.

 

I did hear back on this and was informed you are scheduled to have a repair technician look at the units today. Keep in mind that if the technician has to order any parts they will do so, and you will be then scheduled for a later date to have these parts installed. Let me know how this repair appointment goes today.

Hey Urdonezo,

 

I heard back on this and was advised that both services were cancelled at the door. Did you cancel these repairs when the servicer was at your home yesterday? If so, what was the reasoning?

 

I was advised that our appliance repair team did reach out to you to find out if service was still needed on the units, and left a voicemail advising you to call them to set up service if you do still need these units repaired.

That is incorrect, they scheduled me for Friday today between 2-6 but they called me at 12:30 to reschedule because the tech had injured himself once again.I can prove that either your not getting the facts straight or that they are lying to you as they are lying to me. I have yet to set up my voicemail so there is no way they could leave a voicemail.Once again I'm late to work & this is now jeopardizing my job. My supervisor is beginning to question my state of mind, he thinks I need some time off to pull myself together. I have mentioned to him I'm not crazy I be worked here for 12 yrs. come on you know me, but the Situation I'm going threw with Best Buy does not seem possible.

I need my washer & dryer pls forward this message to someone with authority to over rule any policy that states I can not get a new washer & dryer & to treat my situation with empathy as if it was happening to you. Keep in mind it's an emergency and can no longer wait nor call in my place of employment as I have time & time again. Kids start school next week & I got 2 in football that need uniforms clean as I do as well I'm an EMT. And my youngest has head live and I have to sanitize all pillows clothes towels and bed sheets thank you.
