Iphone battery nightmare replacement

OK so Saturday 1/6 left iPhone 6S with Geek Squad in Buffalo to do a battery replacement which was available in the inventory at the store. Fast forward to today (1/11). Best Buy broke the screen trying to replace the battery and now I am in some holding pattern while Best Buy and Apple figure it all out. This was supposed to be a 30 minute job, no phone for 5 days and Best Buy are unable to tell me when I will have a phone back and claiming Apple are not responding!

 

Is there anyone here that can get me a decent response to my problem please? I need a phone! I can provide oprder number on a PM.

Ok disappointed. Can someone please tell me how to contact corporata? My phone is being held hostage and I’d like to at least have someone respond with some action or advice.

Here is what finally happened.

 

Got a rerurbished phone from Best Buy via Apple today (1/17). They waived the $29 fee as I never even got a new battery! I think leaving people without a phone for 12 days is just not good PR for Best Buy. There needs ot be a plan B when the tech breaks the phone.

Thank you very much for your response. I am glad to hear that you were able to get a phone! I can absolutely agree not having a phone for 12 days is not a great experience and I am sorry this process was so difficult for you. 

 

I will be sure to log your experience here at our Corporate Office for internal review so that we can work to prevent something like this from happening in the future. I know how frustrated I would be for my same-day repair to turn in to something like this.
