Complaint about merchandise sold in store..

Bought a Zagg product in a Best Buy mobile store. The product comes with a lifetime warranty and I have tried unsuccessfully to get a replacement from either the Zagg company or Best Buy..the are backordered until god knows when. I am very disappointed you are selling a product that I can not get replaced in a timely manner. Especially when I paid 40 dollars for it from your store and I can find them all over the internet for sale but not a single one to be had under warranty...what recourse do I have?

Zagg does a pretty good job at getting the customers a new screen when the first one fails to hold up. I apologize that there aren't any for you device that aren't backordered.  If you are wanting an immediate fix and not wait for a backordered replacement under warranty, you may choose to go into any Best Buy and purchase a new screen, or the ones that you mentioned that you saw online.  Unfortunately the process has to start with Zagg, and if they are backordered, well there really isn't much that can be done besides to buy another one new in box.  Sorry for the troubles!

Just from you replying they are pretty good sums it up..I can walk in a store and buy one at full price but can't get one under warranty..Sounds kinda fishy to me..I paid Forty bucks for a product that you have in a store but can't be replaced.Well that's my bad but I assure you it won't happen again..it will be a long time before I buy from you guys and zagg again if ever...

The product comes with a lifetime warranty on it, which means that the manufacturer is offering the warranty for the shield.  Best Buy sells the product that comes with this warranty on their shelves, which we do not offer a warranty on.  

 

The manufacturer will have you visit their webpage and sign in, from there you should see the list of the registered shields that are on hand and choose from the one that you are looking to replace and select it. If you haven't registered your product for your lifetime warranty, you can do it at this time also.  You will then be sent a replacement and are given instructions on how to return the old defective shield back to them to complete the warranty process.

If you are wanting to skip this process and buy a new one then you can take one from the shelves and purchase it at any  register, but if you are looking for your "free" replacement then you will have to wait for them to come back into stock and follow the terms and conditions of their warranty replacement plans.  Best of luck!
