Best Buy Madison tn WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!

MY HUSBAND & I  PURCHASED A  MT-U109DX LAP TOP COMPUTER.   8/03/17 .  WE PICKED IT UP.    3 DAYS LATER ON A SUNDAY~ WE BROUGHT IT BACK BECAUSE IT WAS  LOCKING UP.    *ALL WE WANTED WAS SOMEONE  TO LET US KNOW IF THERE WAS A CERTAIN THING WE NEEDED TO DO*!!  WE BOTH  HAVE  VERY DEMANDING JOBS AND ARE VERY BUSY MON-FRI. WHICH   LEAVES US ONLY SAT OR SUN TO GET THINGS DONE~    (WE WERE BUSY WITH COMPANY ON SAT) WHICH LEFT US ON SUN.  SO AFTER CHURCH WE CAME IN TO SEE IF SOMEONE COULD POSSIBLY HELP US.--  ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT DO TO  WE DID NOT MAKE A APPT  THEY COULD NOT!!!  HOWEVER  WE COULD COME BACK IN A  HOUR AND A HALF!!!       TIME IS VERY  CRUCILE TO US AND WE DID NOT HAVE TIME TO WAIT!   SO   MY HUSBAND   RETURNED THE COMPUTER AND GOT OUR MONEY BACK!~   NOW  YOU PROBLY DO NOT CARE  IM JUST ONE CUSTOMER~   HOWEVER - I  AM NOT HAPPY  I DO NOT HAVE A LAPTOP AT HOME~  AND BEST BUY   CUSTOMER SERICE WAS AWFUL!    THEY COULD HAVE WENT OUT OF THE BOX TO  JUST LOOK AT IT    THEY WERE NOT  BUSY.  ..  AND BY THE WAY  WE WE CAME IN THE STORE   THE PERSON AT THE FRONT WAS PLAYING ON HER PHONE !!!    &  IT DIDNT LOOK WORK RELATED TO ME!     WE STOOD THERE FOR A MOMENT  AND SAID  DO WE NEED A STICKER OR SOMETHING??     SO   MADISON BEST BUY~   NEEDS TO GET IT TOGETHER!      SINCERELY,   CHARLENE  {removed per forum guidelines}

Geek Squad has run off of an appointment system for a few years now in order to reduce wait time in line. I'm sorry if this was never explained to you. As for the person at the front - while they are not a greeter, it's disappointing that they were not paying attention to customers as this is their primary duty (Asset Protection).

Sit tight and a moderator will be by shortly in order to address your complaints and forward your complaint on to the Madison store.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to post with us on the Best Buy forums!  It’s great to get the feedback of our customers to see where we can improve to better serve all of our them, and we apologize if the appointment times were not to your liking.  Appointment times allow our agents to provide a more fulfilling service all around, for the client who has many questions, to the client who is just wanting a fast demo.

 

We have gotten mixed reviews for our Geek Squad appointments, many more good than bad, but our stores are seeing improved client interactions from check-in to check-out by scheduling these time slots.  Our agents should be on task at all time while being customer facing, and you can be sure I’ll be documenting your concerns, here at the corporate headquarters.  Don’t hesitate to write back if we can ever be of any further assistance to you!
