Bestbuy.com Feedback:

The ability to sort products by average customer review star ratings on your website would be beneficial. Currently, best buy customers are able to sort products by "best selling" products, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the large quantity of individuals that purchased these items were thrilled with their purchased goods.

I honestly think this is a very good idea, and I can admit to sorting by customer ratings on other websites myself. Do other customers or employees see a value in this idea?

I actually think this is a great idea myself! Most of my electronics purchases are made using reviews I find from users of the item, so to sort by this would make research even easier.

I too thnk that this is a great idea. It is an excellent point that just because something is “best selling” doesn’t mean everyone would rate the product highly. With the vast access to information most people read reviews these days, and often base some, if not all, of their purchasing decisions off of these reviews. Being able to filter out the highest rated products would increase user’s efficiency on your site leading to an overall better experience for the user.

Also with the implementation of this I think you could take other retailers steps by sending out emails post purchase asking to review recently bought items. Obviously this needs to be capped to may a couple of emails a week/month to prevent it just becoming spam
