Was wondering why you don't honor gift cards on your web sights. I, and I'm sure many other Best Buy shoppers, receive gift cards through the mail from families and friends only to discover that the only way to use them is at your outlet stores. For me, the nearest store is about 60 miles away. The money has already been received by the sale of the card. So, if the option was there to use it on your web sights, it may help bring more online business knowing that everyone can shop online using your gift cards. You already have the info. for every purchased gift card. Let the consumer use it as a credit/debit card until said amount on card is fulfilled. Many other sights that use gift cards allow their consumers to purchase items online. Also many of your customers may not have the access/ability to get to your stores. This would also help with your sales of your gift cards and merchandise.

For me personally, unless I know that someone has the ease of going to your store locations, unlike many teenage, game, music and video loving kids, this won't be a gift I'll be sending them.

Hopefully this is an idea that you can work with.
