Pre Owned Gaming Prices

Status: Acknowledged
by CameronA on ‎02-24-2012 08:15 PM

I think it would be amazing if we changed our pre-owned prices to reflect the Reward Zone gamer unlocked prices. This would drive more awareness of RZ gamer unlocked and create loyalty for our customers, and save them money.

Example : Pre Owned Game Price 44.99 RZ gamer unlocked price : 39.99 :smileyhappy:

Thank you,

Cameron

I love that you are thinking of ways to both drive awareness for Reward Zone benefits, and create more loyalty in our customers! The lower price that Reward Zone Gamer Unlocked members receive on pre-owned games is a benefit of their membership, and if we lowered the normal price of pre-owned games to their price-point this would eliminate one benefit of being a RZ Gamer Unlocked member.

To be honest you should look at what Gamestop does best(used games/pre-orders/reserves) & do exactly the same things since these are areas where they are better than you at this point. Granted, BB is new to the used game market but this is how you beat them do what they do just better. Also, you should think about price matching their used games & trade in values since there can be a large difference. The key is to keep all credit from trades in house that way there's no need to go elsewhere.
