New store location

Hi, I am from the island of Guam, it is a US territory, and I think it would be a great idea if you opened a store here on Guam. I purchased a tv from best buy in Hawaii and as expensive as Hawaii is, your store prices were still good. I mean, if you opened a store here, business would be good, because you guys are a competitive company and reasonable at the same time. Well, it is just an idea. Thanx. Guam

I've heard Guam is a very beautiful place to live, and after looking at pictures of your country I can say I heard right. I do know that BestBuy.com ships to Guam, which does mean you should be able to take advantage of our prices without a store built there. I would like to hear from other citizens/servicemen in Guam on this.

I am wondering how does Best Buy and other retailers decide where to put sotres?  I live in the Kansas City area and there are several Best Buy stores, but they are all in the subburbs.  I live near a future shopping / entertainment development several miles from any other Best Buy and would be a great location for a store.  Would the developer approach Best Buy, the city planners?  Or does Best Buy have "scouts" or "consultants" looking for new locations?
