Going back to my other idea, I am on a limited income, and often I like to shop Best Buy but only for the discounts I see otherwise I cannot afford anything big. I noticed that coupons expire just a few days before many that get SSI or other income in their bank accounts, and then the items go back to full price. If you can extend the dates of these coupons to accomodate those with a lower income you would get more shoppers in your store, perhaps new ones for the first time.

This is absolutely true!!! I myself and many others I know would shop at Best Bu,y but as you stated the coupons/sales and deals are done in days before our finances can make it. Thanks for voicing, we love our Best Buy be nice if they would show the effort to us less fortunate specially when usually it is for our children!!! kudos to you hockeycanuckjc!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps coupons should be issued the first of every month.
I agree! Reward Zone is bogus. The only people who get any real benefit are rich people who can afford to spend thousands of dollars at BB on a regular basis. For us regular folk it's an insult
Yes the rewards need to be issued first of the month and need a longer spend period and not expired so soon. Also true--->I agree! Reward Zone is bogus. The only people who get any real benefit are rich people who can afford to spend thousands of dollars at BB on a regular basis. For us regular folk it's an insult. This program needs to be adjusted and fixed.
One method you can use is this:
Buy something with your rewards certificate, anything, it doesn't matter, as long as it can be returned.
Once you do that, turn around and return the item, your points are re-credited back to your account a few days later and you can get a certificate re-issued.
Works pretty slick as long as you aren't trying to make the reward last another day or two. I also don't encourage this to be done on a regular basis, but I know I too have had a certificate come ready and I'm waiting on the other ton of points I have coming to me to be applied to my account and out of the pending stage.
Like I said, this works, but it's not encouraged.
