I think best buy should start an e-mail program that allows customers to be notified when a product becomes available. For example, you are trying to find a video game for your son/daughter, and its not available anywhere. Sign up for "Best Buy Notify's" and they will let you know when it is available for purchase!

Given the fact that I try to answer these questions for my customers quite often I can certainly see the value in this idea. I would like to hear from other customers and employees on this.

Please add the capability to generate an email to customers when you receive stock. I am patiently waiting for the Canon 5d mach iii w/ lens. It has been sold out online for a couple of days. I am a premier silver member and would like the ability to receive an email when this item comes back into stock.

I agree.  I have been waiting for a Canon 5d mach iii w/lens to become available online.  As a Premier Silver member, it would be nice to receive an email when an item becomes available, so I can spend my $4,300 with Best Buy.

I have to admit as a customer myself I really like this idea. Instead of having to constantly check back I could just get an email when something I want to purchase is back in stock. Anyone else like this idea?

I would really like there to be a way to get an email for a product that is currently out of stock, for when it becomes available. This way I do not have to keep having to check back, and then wait to long and miss out again. I think it would be very convenient and possibly keep sales within Best Buy.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the RewardZone App allowed you to do this?

@stephellis. I have never heard this before, but it is completely possible. I am currently looking into this to see if this app allows for this.

@stephellis. From what I am being told the Reward Zone app doesn't allow for emails to be sent when a product desired is available for purchase.
