I really like getting my gift cards at Giant Eagle for the sole purpose of getting perks, but its convenient to purchase all my gift cards at one location and not going to each store to purchase.  I have always got my gift cards and especially my BEST BUY gift cards there and I contacted Giant Eagle about my concern of this, and they said it was beyond their control and that it was Best Buys decision not Giant Eagles and that Best Buy pulled them from their shelves. The service lady at Giant Eagle told me that she gets over 5 phone calls a day about the BB gift cards not being on the gift card rack at Giant Eagle. I believe that Best Buy should return their gift cards to Giant eagle for their customer to purchase the gift cards to spend in their stores.

Now who's with me!?!? Let our voices be heard people, lets not let this big box store take over they already ran out a competitor a few years back, soon it'll be a monopoly if we don't stand our grounds people. Either give us what we like/want or we wont shop at your store and go elsewhere or online where prices are cheaper anyway, just have to wait for shipping.

This may need to be submitted by Allan directly to the store for more information and or a follow up about it as this sounds strange that their own company would not even carry gift cards They were popular at Christmas however. The pitch in card would have worked too as this functions as a gift card as well where everyone can contribute an amount to go on the card for one big present.

I have no intimate knowledge as to why our gift cards are no longer being sold at Giant Eagle stores. I would like to hear from other customers, that purchased their gift cards from Giant Eagle stores, if they would like to see these back in Giant Eagle stores.

I was just at Giant Eagle to purchase Best Buy gift cards. There was a sign at the gift card display saying that Best Buy gift cards would no longer be available beginning February 15, 2012. I am in Columbus, Ohio. From what I can find on the internet, most fingers point toward Best Buy, not Giant Eagle. This seriously stinks because I go to Best Buy for all of my large electronic purchases.
