Because of the amount of deals BestBuy has had it can be very difficult to keep up thus I always check CAG(CheapA$$Gamer.com) to see what's going on. I'm a very active member there as I am also active on the BestBuy forums page & I think this would benefit all those involved. So it's a "WIN WIN WIN"

Because the deals are far more visible than just the weekly ad thus more sales more $

Errors/mistakes that occur can be correctly quickly & that will cut down on the number of angry customers that miss a deal

With more sales & more $ generated BestBuy can provide more deals & promotions based off the larger sales base

More site traffic, more visibility

Even though the site is for gamers there's also a section for movies & other electronics

Less errors/mistakes to avoid several trips to the store

Easy way to find all the deals in one spot

The CAG community can help with alerting stores that are out of stock & where items can be found

The only "loser" is our wallets but hey those are the breaks.

Just take a look at the current March @Gamer thread with deals that include $10 for Batman Arkham City, $5 for Rage & $5 for Mass Effect 2

The CAG will also be speaking on a rep joining hopefully we can make this happen sooner than later. The 2011 fall deals from BestBuy were unbeatable & even I was overwhelmed trying to keep up, keep everyone updated & get in on some of the deals but that's where a Official rep comes in.

There have been/are other retailers that have reps. there & they have been rewarded with more sales.

On CAG Enuf is a great help in regards to BB but I really wish he did not post this.  CAG doesn't need more lurkers/leeches/trolls and the first 2 out of 3 points in the "CAG WINS" catagory would definitly bring more of those types to the site.  More people does not necessarily mean more posts but it could mean more problems.  As for the third point, how more CAGs would be helped is questionable and relative to the quality of the deals.

I really like this idea. I think the benefits outweigh the cons. Best Buy continues coming out with some of the best deal's compared to other retailers.

would be nice to see some special coupons that offer deals that BB generally doesn't offer in the CAG coupon packs
Buy 1 get 1 40%-50% off
10% off weekly ad prices
CAG deal of the day, week & month
Early access & extended sales for holidays/special events inlcuding black friday

It would also be nice if while here the BB rep would offer exclusive deals that mimic or price match other retailers when their deals are better. I like to keep as many purchases at 1 store to increase the RZ points but there are times when other retailers offer such good deals & sometimes BB won't match them b/c they don't fall into the price match guidelines. AMZ + Newegg are good examples but I'd rather have the games on the spot & earn RZ points.

i'd like to say i'm glad i found cag.com. i watched the site and read many comments. Enuf has been very informative. through him i found the BB forums. i agree with him that more should be done for those of us that spend alot of money at BB.

my BB reminds me of cheers. when i walk in everyone knows my name. i just wish i didn't have to go elsewhere to get "deals". why not price match or adjust to make the sale? lose a little or gain nothing.

what about a GCU night with b2g1 deals or 25% off used games.

I think this would be a nice benefit for Best Buy.  I made the majority (70-80%) of my gaming purchases at K-Mart last fall and the only reason I did was because of their rep on CAG posting about the deals/bonuses they offered.

Since I'm just starting to buy my games at Best Buy, I'd be happy with updates on deals/prices from someone working to manage specific deals/prices.  Having that (and PC versions too!) would make me a happy gamer.

Sears/K-Mart did this last year and although it only lasted about 6-8 months, I think it was one of the more positive things that K-Mart has done in the past few years.  I myself spent a good 200-300 there just because the deals were much better there than anywhere else.  K-Mart has bigger issues with supply chain that contributed to the ending of that program, but if there were something similar from BB I'm sure it would improve sales and the overall "rep" of BB in the gaming community.  At least having someone create an official dialog there to get a conversation going with that community would be a huge start.
