I got a 2 days sale promotion email on 11/4/2011.
Bestbuy was selling eMachines Laptop(SKU: 3599239) for $199.99(Save $150).
I called customer service to ask about the event, the customer service rep. suggested me to go to the store to check it up.
So I went to the store located in SECAUCUS, New Jersey, but none of the sales rep. knew about this promotion, and their answer was product is not in stock.
Nobody could answer me where can I buy this promotional laptop.
I called customer service again, and the customer service rep. said it was only available in the store located on Bronx, New York.
I was really angry to hear that...
Why the Bestbuy sent New York promotion email to other state customers?
Why spread one store promotion event ad. out through the other state?
Why customer service rep. did not know about Bestbuy promotion event?
Why telephone customer service rep. could not give right answer to customers?
It is Horrible.

Hello tistodojuc,
I’m not sure why there would’ve been any confusion regarding our Reward Zone Premier Silver “Shop Early, Save Big” sales event, but I can imagine why you’d be frustrated! I’d be disappointed too if I discovered that an advertised computer wasn’t available at any of the stores in my area, especially if multiple phone calls were involved.
So you’re aware, the offers included in our Shop Early, Save Big sales event were only valid on BestBuy.com. This means that while some of our retail stores may have had this particular computer in stock, they were not required to honor its promotional pricing. I apologize if this was not explained by any of the reps you spoke with in November.
Although I may not be able to undo your experience, rest assured that the appropriate parties will be notified of the situation. We strive to provide customers a worry-free and enjoyable shopping experience, so it’s disheartening to learn of situations where that expectation may not have been met.
Thank you for taking the time to post.
