A friend of mine point out to me that Best Buy is having a buy 2 get 1 free game sale starting 10/25. Basically you can buy 3 games and the cheapest game is free I would assume.

What I want to know is does a pre-order count towards this as long as it's paid in full? I'm pretty set on games that are out that I want but the sale ends just before Dragon Age comes out. I'm sure I can find a 2nd game to pick up to warrant a free third game if pre-orders count.

Like Nokia mentioned, preorders are regrettably excluded from this promotion.  In order to qualify for this sale, games must be readily available in stock and must be purchased together on the same transaction.  For more information though I would strongly encourage you to check out the following link:

yeah I found out after I posted my question that best buy used to allow pre-orders but they had to suspend it b/c ppl were trying to scam the stores by making a pre-order, getting their free games & then cancelling the raincheck to get a refund.
