Ok well for my birthday i asked my dad to order me a pci graphics card but when it got to my house and i opened it it turned out to be a pcie card which my computer cant run I stupidly didnt look at the box before opening it. my question is can i still get it exchanged for a pci card of less or equal value or did i mess up big time?
Note: i still have the receipt the card isnt damaged or scracthed i touched it but thats it and i have the manual and everything else that came with it.

the ONLY thing in the computers department that has a restocking fee, are laptops.
surprising huh?
a lot of people think most of the stuff, after you open it, u can't return it or there's a restocking fee.
actually it's the other way around.
so long story short, you can bring the card back, no problem at all, they'll give you a full refund.
some store might have a problem with returning products in the store if you purchased on the best buy website.
if i were you i'd call up the best buy near you, and double check if it's ok to return something if you purchased online.

you really want the associate to receit to you all the return policy, exchange policy, manuafacture warranty policy, protection plan policy in detail before you purchase the product? you will be standing there for another hour. they give you the documents on all these policy. if you decide you don't want to read it and try to go back and fight the system. have fun.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm..............
Some BB Stores I visited offer you a GC in place of a corp check only if you intend to spend something in the store that same day. But that was ages ago..
The lieniency of the policy varies from manager to manager , supervisor to supervisor, store to store ![]()
