Items that go on sale Thanksgiving day thorugh the Saturday after Thanksgiven do not qualify for price matching, as listed under the Help section for Best Buy's price matching policy. The link to that page can be found here.
Hope this helps, and enjoy your new TV, once you get it. ![]()

If you are implying buying a pre Black Friday item at a higher price and then going in to "reprice" it ON Black Friday during the "doorbuster" hours is not honored....well then BB is NOT doing what the other retailers honor.
For example, just today I had Target reprice my 32" Westinghouse HDTV purchased Wednesday and refund $199.00 to make the purchase price equal to the Black Friday sale price of $246 plus tax. Simple as bringing in the receipt with a scan and the CSR happily quoted, "Oh, repricing to equal the sale price now? No problem!"
Now why did I do this, to avoid all the waiting and mayhem to fight for the limited quantities. Take a hint, if BB will not reprice their own items at Black Friday prices during the door buster hours, Target, Kmart, Microcenter will....
I've done this for 4 consecutive years NOT standing in ANY Black Friday lines.....
Save yourself some misery....
A BIG HINT FOLLOWS FOR ALL NEWBIES!!!!
Follow Bfads. and other Black Friday websites for the adscans to see the exact item for the upcoming sale.
Then go in and buy the item keeping the receipt.
You can even go to the CSR and ask them about price matching their own items and the timeframe...most stores are currently 30 days....
Then go home and watch all the "party line" shoppers fight in line the night before for a few little tickets freezing and know you have the items in hand already.
FINAL NOTE, YOU MUST GO IN DURING THE SALE HOURS TO RE PRICE.....
Happy Black Friday shopping next year....
