Does BB price match BB in-store purchases to CC cyber Monday specials?
How would I go about doing this? 300 dollars ( almost 25%) on a LCD TV is making me think about returning the TV to BB, if I can't get a price match. I purchased TV 2 weeks ago.
Thanks!

This policy is absolutely absurd! But.......you can buy online at the LOW price and pick up in the store. See my previous message....Best buy does not price match themselves.....

I have discovered that it is not a cyber Monday price. It is a "sale" price -- online.
CC is a bricks and mortar store near me, and I can have it delivered to the store. Notwithstanding, they have in-store availability.
So my question is now different.
Will BB in-store price match a "regular" sale price on CC website. Do I have to go to the CC in town and "borrow" the tag off the shelf?
The price of the TV has dropped in-store (BB) $100. In reading other parts of this board, I've gathered that BB will not do a price adjustment for the $100. Am I reading that right?
Also,
Thanks for the quick reply.... I didn't think I'd get a reply until business hours tomorrow.

Hello again johnbom,
Best Buy® will match our competitors' prices under the guidelines of our
policy, to which I linked previously. To hit the key points: if the item is not
part of a web-exclusive event, the competitor is in stock, they match their own website pricing, and they have a store location in your local Best Buy®'s competitve area, then the store will honor your request for a price match. If you have a flyer or print-out of the competitor's promotion, it would be helpful to bring it along.
Best Buy® will also honor requests for a price match to our own price changes and promotions within the posted policy, except where excluded. For example, price matches to our After-Thanksgiving promotion were excluded. Otherwise, your request for a price match if our price drops should be honored.
For the benefit of our customers, price matches to Cyber Monday sale prices will be honored.
I hope this helps!

I have learned over the years to check ALL other stores pricing before making a purchase. Not just at Best Buy but any store. You can ALWAYS find a cheaper price, just depends on how much work you want to do to find it.
But I will say, on big ticket items, BB is not always the best price. And I hate their return policy. Who in their right mind would pay 15% to return an item. Most of their competitors don't charge a restocking fee, the one's that did are no longer in business (Comp USA comes to mind).
If I'm buying something under $100 I don't usually put too much effort into checking prices. But for big ticket items like TV's or computers, I do a lot of checking.
Right now BB has a laptop I want but it a brand new model. The sales people seem to know the product but can't answer every question I have about it. So do I take it home and hope for the best? NOPE, if I need to return it for some reason, they want 15% or $164.85 if I don't like the item and want to bring it back. Every place else I have checked will NOT charge a restocking fee. So again, BB has lost a sale due to their 15% restocking fee.
Sorry to be so negative BB, but your fee is just a rip off to the consumer.

BB didn't price match CC today since they are going out of business in certain states. BB will not price match on certain sell days. BB told me that there was a 60-day price match policy and when I went into the store today they said that the 60-day price matching was no longer honored...the promotion was over. Though, I was told by more than 1 person at BB on the day of purchase that there was a 60-day price match on TVs. I have purchased a TV from HHgreggs a few years back and HHgreggs price matched without any hassles ($700 saving). I should have gone there in the first place.
My lesson learned. I will not shop at BB ever again. If you shop around you will most likely get a better price elsewhere. And to boot, if it goes on sale the other store might actual honor their price matching policy.
