Hopefully I'm in the right place here.
I just purchased a refurbished xbox 360. It works great except that it won't save games. It was supposed to come with enough internal memory to do this, but it's acting as though there isn't any at all. Is there something I'm doing wrong, or do I need to return it?
Thanks for any help.

Thanks Dorothy. I look forward to his reply.
Just wondering if anyone else here has any ideas/thoughts. I know that the arcade version does not come with a hard drive, but the product description and manual it came with clearly states that it has enough internal memory to save some games. Has anyone ever had this console?

Thank you for your reply.
When I click on the memory option, I get a message that says "no storage device found". I know that I can just buy a memory card, hard drive, etc., but the reason I purchased this from BB rather than a competitor is that they clearly stated that there was internal memory available. I bought this for my daughters who only play occasionally, so we don't need a ton of memory or space.
Thank you for acknowledging that it should have enough built-in memory to save some games. Now I know I wasn't imagining it. lol

Hey indymom,
While it’s possible that system updates, demos and game settings files may be taking up a significant portion of your console’s storage space, I doubt that this is the cause of the problem you’re experiencing. It’s my understanding that the contents of your console’s on-board memory should always be visible and accessible – even if there’s a hard drive installed – so you may want to consider returning or exchanging the unit if you’re unable to view this information.
To arrange an exchange, simply give our website support team a call at 1-888-BEST-BUY (1-888-237-8289). Alternatively, you can return the console by bringing it to the customer service desk at your local Best Buy® store along with a copy of your order confirmation e-mail.
I hope this helps.
