10 days ago, I purchased an open box Whirlpool washing machine which was scheuled to be delivered. The washing machine was delivered and it was missing the drain hose. They dropped the machine and left. The delivery was contracted to a third party and they are not cooperative. I tried to call Bestbuy and after half an hour I gave up. When i went back to the best buy where I purchased the washing machine the sales rep who is there told me that she don't know anything and asked me to come later when either the guy who sold me or someone else (not me) was here. Another sales person who was theretold the same. The next day I went and the person who sold me was there and he aplogised and gave me a drain hose and said that it fits good. When I requested them to have the service guys come the next day and fix it, they said they can't do it.
When the service guys returned they said the drain hose is GE drain hose and not Whirlpool. Same thing happened, I called and no response for half an hour and I have to go back to the store. This time there were some other sales guys and when I explained they gave me another drain hose and said this is the correct one but they can't schedule the service the next day because they can't control it. couple of days later the service guys came and said the drain hose is LG drain hose and not whirlpool drain hose and they can't do it. I asked them to take the machine with them and they said it is not our job to do this whereas the same company(different person) told that they will do it if something like this happened one more time.
When I called Best buy, as usual "No response" and went back to Best buy and cancelled the order (the best thing i did).The sales person are the worst i have seen and they don't know what they are doing. The worst part is, when i asked them if i can purchase the drain hose they said they don't sell it. I went to lowes the same evening around 7pm selected a washing machine and when i requested them that i want it the nextday eventhough they said it was hard, they are able to accomidate me for the next day delivery. 9 am the next morning I had the washing machine installed. Just because it was closer to my office i was at the best buy and i am wishing that will be last time.
