Thank you for posting in Best Buy® forums; I am sorry for the disappointment you feel because Best Buy® was not able to provide you with a receipt to honor the insurance claim for your stolen computer.

 

At the moment we have not received additional claims of customers not getting there receipts via email. Best Buy® policy behind emailing the receipt is that it takes no longer than 2 hours once a request has processed. The customer should also view there “Spam’’ folder as it known to filter into the folder. Best Buy® is willing to use an alternative email address if needed.

 

As you might have read, additional method of look up, include visiting the Best Buy® store in the country the purchase was made, or if you are a Reward Zone member you can always visit MyRewardZone.com. Receipts can also be delivered via fax and postal mail, but currently this option is not available for our international customers.

 

I understand you partly blamed Best Buy® for not receiving the compensation that your insurance would have offered. I noticed that you did not take the offer the $50 gift card that was offered. I cannot promise that Best Buy® will compensate you for what the insurance company, but I am willing to listen to what you believe Best Buy® can do to regain your confidence as a customer.

I have a request for bb community connectors. Remove slimjim77 from these forums please I've read post after post of his derogatory remarks and frankly its rediculous he hasn't already been removed for trolling and being generally disruptive to your customers who post here, thank you.

As he doesn't go against the terms and conditions, those posts are not removed and he is not removed. Publicly personally attacking someone would be grounds for removal of posts or posting capability but being honest and somewhat blunt doesn't.

Well this is an adult forum for real life situations and problems people are having. Saying things like " Best buy is not your mommy" has no place and or business being posted, as all it does is serve to further anger already angry and or irate customers.

It's a public forum...anyone can post anything they want as long as they do not personally attack other members.

I do not get why adults like being treated like little kids.

As you said this is an adult forum. I think that was what SlimJim was getting at too. If the connectors feel it is inappropriate they will remove it. As a public forum, people are free to post what they would like as long as it does not violate the terms and conditions. Being blunt or not using tact is not against terms and conditions.
