It can't be an item another store has on clearance and the other store's price can't be from online.  Just bring in a copy of the other store's sales ad for verification.  Usually the store will have to call the other store to check the price and make sure they have the same item in stock.

We would definitely price match a local competitor’s price on a camera, camera lenses, and camera accessories as long as certain conditions are met first. Our stores will not match the price of any online retailer other than BestBuy.com. The local competitor would need to be a brick and mortar store in the local area of the Best Buy® store that you wish to have the price matched at. We would need verification of the lower price and that the local competitor has the product in stock at the time of the price match. The lower price could not be due to a clearance sale or a going out of business sale and the model numbers need to match exactly.
