Link to original problem which i thought was solved...
only to find out when i tried to use the gift card that it had a zero $$ balance. So much for using it on a purchase for an anniversary gift. Now I am still waiting for someone to get back to me in the typical 3-5 business day fashion that is best buy customer service.
Now after multiple calls, emails and message postings i am still waiting for this $50 gift card 3 months later. If only best buy was better at completing there promotions, i might not be so frustrated with this company.
After this experience i will really have to think hard about any promotions that best buy might offer and is it really worth all the time and effort or just go buy the product cheaper somewhere else and forget the promotions.

I upgraded my iphone thru best buy after sigining up for an offer of $50 giftcard on Feb. 27th. Never recieved anything on the gift card so called customer service. Now 3 phone calls in, a case opened (97861938) and still no gift card. What is going on with your cusotmer service?i called on 3/5 and was told a case would be opened and promotions would get right back to me. I went on vacation so didnt worry about it for awhile, then called back on 3/19. I was told then that they routed it to the wrong department and that this was fixed and now promotions will get right back to me, then on 3/23 called again and was first told i would need to go back to the store and then that promotions was behind but would respond ASAP. Now its 3/28 and i just called and recording said they were closed. What is up with the BB customer service. I have been a loyal customer and reward zone member for many years and this is how you treat your customers? still waiting on the gift card.....

Is jacob ever going to contact me? I am still waiting on this initial contact. I finally got a call back from the 5 calls i have made to customer service, but i was hoping to have Jacob ride herd on this and make sure that what they told me really happens, which so far has not been the case. I was told that they were forwarding my issue to the "mobile department" and that i should be issued a gift card soon??? it would be coming in the mail and would likely take up to 21 days??? Can someone let me know if this is really happening or if the ball was dropped again?

Is someone from Best Buy going to respond to this? Still waiting on any kind of response to make sure that the ball was not dropped again on my Gift Card?
