The best thing about spyware is that I make alot of money removing it from peoples computers. I don't charge what GS charges but I still make alot of money.

Is a Ford or a Chevrolet faster, better looking? Which one lasts longer? This my friend is all personal opinion along with which is the best brand of computer to go with, best T.V. Best car radio. Really all depends on who ya ask. There is no "best choice" of really anything in Best Buy. Virus programs act as a "screen door" per say. It will protect you against the bulk of things but this does not make you completely "virus proof" the only way to do this as of now is on a Macintosh

It is unfortunate that you have gotten a virus on your new pc but I have to say 3 of the 3 of your "strikes" were not Best Buy's fault. When you turn on a computer, you are responsible for the os and all software, not a retail store that sold it to you.

Trend micro is one of the best on the market, but no single antivirus software is going to cover everything. It sounds like you didn't purchase a virus removal plan (called vi spy) through best buy...so I'm just interested...how is any of this the stores fault?

I bought my laptop from Best Buy and I am currently using an antivirus that came with my pc, but if I get a virus I'm certainly not going to blame the store for my problems

I use a combination of ESET NOD32 (one of the best antiviruses around, IMHO, and I have tried them all...lightweight, fast, unobtrusive, and effective); Malwarebytes Anti-Malware; SuperAntiSpyware and Spybot.

The last three are free programs. ESET NOD32 costs, but is worth it.

Remember...ONLY ONE antivirus should be on your computer.
