I bought a TV from a local BB store in January of '07 and bought a 4-year PRP warranty plan. The TV is obsolete now and is also beginning to have multiple problems. When I had contacted the store I purchased the TV from they had told me that I would have to schedule a date for the geek squad to come to my house and look at it first. If I am not mistaken, I do believe that the old PRP warranty states that it is a PRODUCT REPLACEMENT PLAN, not a product inspect then debate if its replaceable plan. Am I not able to take this defective TV back and get a new one of equal value on the spot? Please inform me if I am incorrect.

Hi there and welcome to the Community! The service plan you have is a PSP or Product Service Plan. We did not offer PRP plans on televisions. The store is correct in what they told you. You can contact 1-888-BestBuy to have a technician come to your home to diagnose and repair the problems you are experiencing with the television.
