Re: Store Pick-Up? Why???

knocks,

From reading it, the parking spot was your first complaint or am I reading it wrong?

No looks like I read it correctly.

Re: Store Pick-Up? Why???

Their first complaint was about the parking because, in the order of events, it was the first thing that occurred. The primary complaint that needs to be addressed is the fact that the OP was ignored by associates while he/she was standing in the BestBuy.com Pickup line in the store.

Just because standing in line happened after finding a parking spot (which, in almost every case, is the order in which those events should occur), doesn't mean that the parking spot is their primary complaint.

Re: Store Pick-Up? Why???

So the parking spot was a complaint. I was just wondering why that even has anything to do with the main coplaint? You found a spot so I see no issue.

Have a great day everyone

A wise man once told me that any man that claims "A wise man once told me, if someone thinks they are wise, they are not." need only to look into the mirror.

Most of time when people have a complaint they tell the whole story not bits and fragments of it unless there is something they feel someone shouldn't know or just dont want to admit to something and leave it out.

Re: Store Pick-Up? Why???

Houston,

There are plenty of nonsense and unreasonable complaints that litter this board, but this isn't really one of them.

All Knocks was saying is that the Hawaii store should have some more planning and organization around the In-Store Pickup procedures.  There was an in-store pickup area that was unattended and Knocks had to wait for 20 minutes in the return and exchanges line.  There is nothing wrong with passing this on to store management.

Re: Store Pick-Up? Why???

Hi Knocks,

Yes, you are in the right place.  :smileyhappy:

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us and I can certainly understand your disappointment over the changes in your recent store pick-up experience as you described.  I wanted to let you know that while I do not have all of the information I was hoping to before responding, I have sent a request for clarification on this process to our store management of this location, and as soon as I have more information I will follow up with you again.

I appreciate your continued patience and I hope you have a great day,

Re: Store Pick-Up? Why???

Hello again Knocks,

As I mentioned previously, I have been in contact with our store management regarding this matter and have now been advised that the issue with the Customer Service lines has been addressed, but that unfortunately, the parking lot stall is not something this location is currently able to offer.  I apologize again but I will absolutely make sure that your feedback is forwarded to the appropriate personnel to be reviewed for future quality purposes.

Thanks again,

Re: Store Pick-Up? Why???

Sarah, thank you very much for responding and addressing my problem!

I totally understand the Aiea store's inability to offer a dedicated stall for pick-up customers.  I have no problem with the decision to remove the reserved stall.  The parking lot is relatively small for a "big-box" store, and considering that there doesn't seem to be a large number of pick-up customers, I see the rationale of  using whatever space is avaialable.  My main concern had to do with the handling of the lines, which again, I thank you for addressing. I look forward to my next purchase using the pick-up option!
